FAQs

Application Process

Can I apply for multiple law programs?

Yes. You can apply for more than one law program, but you’ll need to meet the specific eligibility criteria and complete separate application forms for each program.

The entrance exam generally includes sections on English, General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning, Legal Aptitude, and Mathematics/Commerce Awareness (depending on the program). The format is objective-type (MCQ) with no negative marking in most cases.

Yes. The institution follows the reservation policy as per government norms, applicable to categories such as SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and PwD.

Eligibility Concerns

I have a gap year in my education. Am I eligible?

Yes. Students with a gap year are eligible to apply, provided they meet the required educational qualifications and submit valid supporting documents.

Absolutely. Students from all recognized boards (State, CBSE, ICSE, etc.) are eligible to apply for the program.

You can still apply. Admission will be offered provisionally, and your final confirmation will depend on submission of the qualifying exam results before the deadline.

Program Selection

How do I choose between LL.B., B.A. LL.B., and B.Com. LL.B.?

Your choice depends on your academic background and career goals:

  • LL.B. – A 3-year program for graduates who want to study law after completing a bachelor’s degree.

  • B.A. LL.B. – Best for students interested in the social, political, and constitutional side of law.

  • B.Com. LL.B. – Ideal for those aiming for corporate, taxation, or business law

Yes, transfers are possible, subject to university rules and availability of seats. You’ll need to provide transcripts and a no-objection certificate from your previous institution.

  • LL.B. – Postgraduate professional course (3 years) for graduates from any stream.

  • B.A. LL.B. – Integrates humanities and law over 5 years.

  • B.Com. LL.B. – Combines commerce and law over 5 years.
All three lead to a law degree recognized by the Bar Council of India, but the academic focus varies based on the subjects integrated with law.
