FAQs
Payment-Related Questions:
Can I pay the annual fee in monthly installments?
No. The annual fee is usually paid semester-wise or annually, as per the college’s payment schedule. For exceptional cases, students may request a special approval from the accounts office.
What is the refund policy if I withdraw admission?
Refunds are processed as per the institution’s refund policy aligned with UGC and BCI guidelines. The amount refunded depends on the time of withdrawal — earlier withdrawals typically qualify for a higher refund percentage.
Are there any hidden charges not mentioned in the fee structure?
No. All fees are clearly mentioned in the official fee structure document. Any optional charges — like hostel, transport, or extracurricular activity fees — are communicated transparently before payment.
Financial Support Questions:
What documents are required for scholarship applications?
Students applying for scholarships need to submit a valid EWS or income certificate, along with academic mark sheets and ID proof as specified in the scholarship guidelines.
Do you provide assistance for education loans?
Yes. The college provides all necessary loan assistance documents, such as admission letters and fee structures, to help students secure loans from nationalized or private banks.
Are there work-study opportunities available?
Currently, there are no formal work-study programs, but students can participate in internships, campus ambassador roles, or part-time research projects that provide both experience and stipends.
Program Comparison Questions:
Why is the fee the same for B.A. LL.B. and B.Com. LL.B. programs?
Both are integrated five-year programs with a similar structure, faculty expertise, and academic resources. The only variation lies in the foundational subjects (Humanities vs. Commerce), not in the academic delivery or law curriculum — hence, the same fee applies.
What additional costs should I budget for beyond the program fee?
Apart from tuition, students should budget for hostel and mess charges, examination fees, books, and moot court participation costs (if applicable).
Are there any fee concessions for siblings or college staff children?
Yes. The institution offers special concessions for siblings and children of college staff, subject to eligibility and verification by the accounts department.
